WAYNE ROONEY

Wayne Rooney was born 24^th October 1985. He was born in Liverpool, England. He plays for both Manchester United and the English national team. He was just aged 16 when he made his professional debut for Everton where he played for two years before moving to Manchester United. He has been a major success in his football career and has been awarded the best goal of the season thrice by BBC. He is the third highest paid footballer after Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo. Wayne Rooney recently made news by being the youngest player in EPL to score 150 goals. He is the 6th player to score 150 goals in EPL after Thierry Henry, Alan Shearer, Robbie Fowler, Andy Cole and Frank Lampard. Wayne Rooney has also been awarded PFA's players' player of the season and PFA's fans' player of the season.

7 months after Robert Di Matteo was brought in after Andreas Villas Boas was fired for completely destroying the team has been sacked as he has not been able to get a win in the last 4 matches. This is just absurd. Lets all remember that this is the guy who brought together a completely devastated team and won the Champions League and FA Cup.

I get that Roman Abramovic is a man who loves his money and his team a lot but he should get that it is just the beginning of a season and Chelsea is still in the top 5 of the Barclays Premier League and have serious contention for the League this season. Chelsea beat Manchester United to go through to the quarterfinals of the League Cup which only happened due to good and quick thinking tactics of Di Matteo. In the Champions League if they win their match convincingly against Nordsjælland and if Juventas draw or lose their next match, Chelsea will go through to the round of 16. Roman Abramovic has brought in Rafael Benitez (ex liverpool and inter milan coach) as a replacment.
